Kim Moreno - head coach
A member of the Universal Cheerleading Association, Coach Moreno is Head Coach of Randolph Rams HS Cheerleading, and has been coaching the Randolph Varsity Football, Basketball, and Competition cheerleading teams since 2014. Most recently, she lead the Rams to NHSCC with a second place finish at Empire State Regionals. Coach Moreno’s extensive cheer experience includes being a member of NJ Nets Cheer Team, performing at all home games (’03-05); Member of NBA Fan Patrol, performing at events year- round, including All Star and Overseas Promotional Games (’03-10); Head Judge at Epic Brand All Star Nationals (’15-16); TSC staff member (CA – ’09-10); member of the William Paterson Coed Cheer Team (4th place UCA ’04-05); member of Montclair State All Girl Cheer Team (1st place Cheer Ltd ‘07, 4th place NCA ‘08); Head Choreographer for UCA, running choreography camps in the northeast (including North Hunterdon – UCA finalist, ‘13); and Head Choreographer for Immaculate Conception AYO cheer in North Hunterdon NJ (‘07-14). She holds safety certifications in both AACCA and NFHS.
Melissa McHugh - assistant coach
Coach McHugh has been with the Rams coaching staff since 2015. She is currently serving as Assistant Coach. Her cheer background includes being a member of the Villanova University All Girl Cheerleading team from ’08-11, serving as captain in 2011.
Katherine Vetrone - assistant coach
About the RAMS:Known throughout our associated athletic and competitive conferences for putting forth entertaining routines on the field and floor, as well as up-beat and encouraging cheers and chants from the sidelines for football and basketball, Rams Cheerleaders are well respected and identified.
We take great pride in the fact that we place equal focus on all of our sideline and competitive teams. We truly believe that every athletes growth is important to our team. As representatives of the high school, the cheerleaders strive to be role models and advocates for many philanthropies in the community.
We take a great deal of pride in the family (#RAMILY) that we cultivate across every squad and every grade at Randolph High School.
